A large pane of glass divides the pod so relatives can spend time with their loved one as if in the same room.
We know that visiting has been strange since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, and has required a lot of patience and heartache at times.
Once Public Health England gave the nod for visiting care homes to resume, we were able to enable distanced visits outside during the summer months, however it’s just not practical when autumn and winter arrive.
Residents and relatives benefit from that all-important time together, so we’ve built bespoke visiting pods in each of our three homes to enable visiting to continue.
A large glass window and homely decorations mean the pods comply with the latest guidance while remaining as comfortable as possible.
