We are very proud to announce that last week, we attended the Care Awards hosted by Care and Support West, which celebrate excellence in social care across our region.

This year saw particularly strong competition, with a record number of nominations across all categories. We enjoyed an awards gala evening at Ashton Gate Stadium.

We are delighted to announce that we had two winners on the night:

• Jackie Thornycroft – Best Front Line Care Worker (Windmill House)
• Emma Vickers – Best Registered Manager (The Meadows)

We are also very pleased to share that Della Darcy, from Osbourne Court, was a finalist in the Best Front Line Senior Care Worker category.

We would like to congratulate our winners and finalist and say how incredibly proud we are of their achievements.
